Nicolette Whitley completed her degree at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). Her experience as a performer spans across Film, TV and Theatre throughout the UK and internationally. Nicolette has most recently been working with Fallen Angels Dance Theatre finishing the tour at The Royal Opera House in London.
Live performance includes West End credits, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Latitude Festival and 3D Filmusic Barcelona. In addition, TV credits include The Inbetweeners movie, 8 out of 10 Cats, commercials for Argos, Virgin and Crest featuring Shakira. She has also worked for brands such as Adidas launching Stella McCartney’s new sports range at Topshop, Guess, Gap and VOGUE Brasil.
Nicolette is part of world-renowned Martz Contemporary Dance Company for choreographer Eva Sánchez Martz. MCDC has enabled Nicolette to further her creative development and improve as an artist while performing in countries such as Spain and Italy.
Nicolette has a passion for choreography and was a founder of the contemporary lyrical dance duo Alleviate. Alleviate were the runners up on Sky 1’s Got To Dance series 2 and went on to star in the hit dance show Flash Mob at Sadler’s Wells Peacock Theatre in the West End. Alleviate were also invited to perform for the Queen at Buckingham Palace, have starred in their own cruise ship show and appeared at An Evening with Strictly Come Dancing Stars Karen and Kevin for two consecutive years.
With her passion for travel Nicolette completed a stint in India performing on television under the guidance of world famous Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Hegde. Here she performed in the 59th FilmFare Awards with stars such as Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and more.
Nicolette’s most recent adventure took her to China where she was choreographing and teaching for UKCI in association with Beijing Normal University. Other choreography credits include; The Institute of the Arts Barcelona (Spain), World Dance Movement International workshops (assistant), The Dance World Cup (Portugal), Salaam Baalak Trust (India), The Musical Factory (Switzerland) and UK events such as Move It, TMCE and Can You Dance?
